FOTD // Natural Taupe

FOTD! Pretty natural looking to me... it's for this look:

I didn't have time to take a lot of pictures do a lengthy tutorial, but here are a couple of pictures so you get the idea.

I applied a skin colored shadow on my top lid and highlighted the browbone with a white-ish shadow.
The main color--taupe (Mushroom) was applied on my lid enough to where I could see it when I open my eyes.
Then I blend the top of it.
Make sure the shadow forms a V on the outer part of your eye to connect to the bottom!
I line my eyes with a gel liner (blacktrack) on the top lid and bottom outer corner.
Then using a black pencil eyeliner (UD: zero), I line the top outer half waterline and bottom inner waterline and connect it with the bottom outer corner to make that almond shape.

RT @zappos You can't change the past, but every day is an opportunity to rewrite your future.

That was a little inspiring message via Twitter..

The Boiler in Chino Hills
This place was delicious! I like to yelp.. and according to the reviews, the Pan Roast is the die for.. so of course, I order that with level 7 spicyness.. so yummy.. we also ordered the House Oysters, which is topped with tomato sauce, peanut butter, and bacon bits.. but this failed to impress :(  maybe because I was expecting raw oysters..  but even so.. the sauces overpowered actual oyster meat.

Shamrocks Pub & Grill
Nice, chill.. friendly.. cheap?

And prior to the birthday celebration, we went to the mall..
Initially went in search of an additional birthday gift.. but instead, I left with..

limited edition jean jacket
LOL I just searched the H&M site in German to find a picture of it.. I had been looking for a jean jacket for a while now.. and I finally found it! I was at the store with R.. and right as I put one arm in the sleeve, he said "ok get it, I like it" .. lol.. I like that it ends around my waist.. so that it won't make my torso look too long :) I'm a little bit iffy on the penny looking buttons though..

gold sequined hairband (R saw it and immediately said I should get it because it would look good with my current hair color)

sunglasses x2 -- 2 for $25!

R also surprised me with teal/pink spiz'ikes on Saturday!!

He was like.. "I got some shoes at the mall.. but I dont think you'll like em that much.."  So obviously I'm thinking he bought shoes for himself! Hhaha... what a weenie..

It's almost Springggg

Thaat should be it for now.. I should really be working on my term paper .. eep

Chaos: T-minus 5 hours and counting

Yay, leaving for Vegas soon!
Fran's birthday is going to be insaneee
I need to go home and pack!
Every time I need to pack, I have to make a list of items to bring.  Is it because I might forget to bring something in the end or because I'm organized? mm..
I like the movie "As Good as It Gets"..
I have to see Shutter Island soon! I hear it's a nice psychological thriller..
I swear I saw previews for that movie like 1 year ago though.. I thought it was already on DVD!
By the way, I received my order from this girl who was selling her makeup! I basically bought blushes from Smashbox, Nars, and MAC.  She included a LA Colors eyeshadow palette as a gift! The colors are so pretty.. I'll try to do swatches of everything when I get return .. orrr maybe I should bring my notebook with me to Vegas!

I'M SO EXCITED! lol.. Finally get to relax and escape from Real Life for a few days!
xx, j

P.S. Christy said she's going to think of a gangster name for me while we're there.  We'll see... OH!! I don't watch Jersey Shore, but name "The Situation" is hilarious!  I was listening to the radio in the morning and Ryan Seacrest is "The Pulsation" while Kim Kardashian is "The Infatuation".  HAhahah

FOTD // Purple + Black

First time doing a tutorial!
I'm using Urban Decay's Alice in Wonderland palette..

Steps:
Brush off the fall out from the eyeshadow.. Apply foundation, draw in eyebrows, dust on a bit of blush..

FIN!

I look pale as fuck! But I'm facing the window, so meh..
Anyway, you can line your inner waterline with black or just apply shimmery white stuff..
I don't curl and use mascara on my eyelashes usually.  They're just short and not that visible anyway!  Besides, it's 10x easier to apply false lashes with nothing in the way!

Products used:
Eyes:
Urban Decay: Primer potion
Urban Decay: Alice in Wonderland Palette
     Purple Eyeshadow: Absolem
     Black Eyeshadow: Jabberwocky
MAC: blacktrack eyeliner
Darkness: Kma9 false eyelashes
Neo Color circle in Brown

Face:
MAC: NC25 Studio fix
Unknown brand: peach blush
