FOTD // Purple + Black

First time doing a tutorial!
I'm using Urban Decay's Alice in Wonderland palette..

Steps:

 Brush off the fall out from the eyeshadow.. Apply foundation, draw in eyebrows, dust on a bit of blush..

  

FIN!

I look pale as fuck! But I'm facing the window, so meh..

Anyway, you can line your inner waterline with black or just apply shimmery white stuff..

I don't curl and use mascara on my eyelashes usually.  They're just short and not that visible anyway!  Besides, it's 10x easier to apply false lashes with nothing in the way!

MAC: blacktrack eyeliner

Darkness: Kma9 false eyelashes

Neo Color circle in Brown

MAC: NC25 Studio fix

Unknown brand: peach blush

 

 Pickups! + samples that the nice SA decided to include.. Korean brand Ossion which I have never heard of.  She recommended it after I asked whether they carried Laneige.  I had actually been on the search for Shisem false lashes, but when I asked the SA, she said Shisem stopped shipping to America 3 years ago.. not sure if this is true..

Resolutions

 

Hahaha.. in Dec. 2008, I was at a Celine Dion concert and in Dec 2009, I was at a Lady Gaga concert

So.. the new year..

I don't understand how some people can have a LIST of resolutions for the new year.  Realistically, no one will follow through with it till the end! I know it, you know it, we all know it.  It's like.. yeah, you might be incredibly enthusiastic about it in the beginning, but as time goes on, you start to find loopholes, you start to make exceptions, until you forget about the resolution entirely! Fine, maybe I'm really just using myself as an example, but I KNOW it holds true for the majority!  So my resolution for 2010 is:  Don't be late for more than 5 minutes! Realistic enough? I think so.  As of January 17, so far, so good!

Dyed my hair!

I think it looks a lot better! Hahah..

I primarily wanted a darker color because the lightness was killing me.. my hair really bothered me because my roots were so visible. Another thing I was going for was that I wanted an ashy color with blue/green undertones instead of warm golden tones.. but my hair color now seems to still have reddish tones.. kind of disappointed in that, but I'm glad the color is darker, at least.

Spontaneously after work, I saw a Sally's so I stopped by and decided I wanted to color my hair. I picked up 2 bottles of Medium Ash Brown and a bottle of 20 volume developer. My sister happened to be heading home too, so she helped me dye my hair. Yey
